Brew Your Own Beer

Craft beer, once a drink enjoyed mainly by beer connoisseurs, has over the last few years scaled up in an unimaginable way. Northern Ireland has some brilliant microbreweries including but not limited to Whitewater Brewing Co. & Boundary Brewing Coop (who by the way have their own artist in residence that creates artwork for them!). There has also been a surge in making your own beer, with local company BrewBot looking at how to change the way in which we can control the brewing process.
With all of this in mind, there has been a real interest in getting back to the roots and exploring home-brewing and beer making and using traditional processes. DIY beer brewing is also the perfect way to make a bespoke beer to please your palate. Our short course this weekend by Aaron Hunter looked at how to make your own beer, something he has been doing for several years. We were excited to have Aaron and our attendees on board for a fantastic workshop!
