Situated on the ground floor of Blick Shared Studios, The Gallery Space offers a unique, comfortable and ambient setting in which aspiring visual artists may exhibit their work.
Showcasing new artistic and photographic exhibitions monthly, Blick accommodates it’s’ artists with an opening night on the first Friday of the each month. Facilities are available for artists to self- cater their event and all exhibitions are publicised through our website, mailing list and social networking sites, as well as on site at Blick. In return for these services Blick asks only for 30% commission of all works sold.
Exhibitions are viewed daily by potential buyers passing through, as our ground floor meeting and event space is utilised by artists and businesses from all walks of life, as well as our Blick Shared Studios residents comprising local creative start-up businesses.
As a social enterprise working with creative individuals and businesses in the current climate, Blick realises that gallery space is often competitive and expensive and aims to provide a feasible platform for those aspiring to display and sell their work as well as providing networking opportunities for all those inspired.
